Ada gosip yang mengatakan bahwa Jessie J itu Lesbi :(
Penyanyi asal Inggris berusia 24 tahun, Jessie J., disebut punya orientasi seks menyimpang. Dalam buku berjudul Jessie J: Who`s Laughing Now karya Chloe Covan diungkap fakta, pelantun Price Tag itu penyuka sesama jenis sejak berumur 17 tahun.
Menurut buku Covan itu, Jessie sebenarnya ingin mengakui fakta itu. Tapi ia takut kejujuran bakal berimbas pada karier bermusiknya. Jessie juga ngeri kehilangan kontrak dengan Universal Music, tempatnya bernaung.
Chloe Govan menulis: "Jessie mungkin telah bersama laki-laki di masa lalu. Tapi dia 100 persen lesbi. Jessie secara terbuka lesbian dan tidak menyembunyikannya...."
Govan menambahkan, "Dia (Jessie J) disarankan untuk tidak mengaku lesbian. Meski masyarakat bisa jadi menganggap kalau menjadi lesbi itu trendi, eksotis, dan bisa menjadi fashion statement. Dan, tentu hal itu akan meningkatkan popularitasnya."
Pada Maret 2011, Jessie mengaku kepada penyanyi Rihanna kalau dirinya biseksual. "Saya tak pernah menyangkalnya. Saya memang nge-date dengan perempuan dan laki-laki. Itu semua benar," ujar salah seorang mentor dalam reality show The Voice itu.
Namun terkait dengan rumor lesbi tersebut, Penyanyi yang sudah menjual album 12 juta keping di seluruh dunia itu membantah lewat akun twitternya,
"TAPI apa itu! Berbisik *?, Karena * rahasia aku benar-benar lesbian?! Ha! Terima kasih untuk menulis lagi cerita tak benar dan membosankan." tulis Jasie.
